I can deal with it….

I’m down .6 pounds not to shabby! Since all of done this whole week is sit on my bum and quilt while watching movies…. ALL week! And I’ve had my share of brownies and Rolo’s this week. I’ll try and be better next week…

Tip #50 Eat Less, More Often

Set a goal to eat less than you normally do for each meal. Eat six small meals, think to yourself: I’m going to eat less right now, but I can eat more a small snack again in a few hours.

It’s good for your body to get small, sensible portions of food at regular intervals throughout the day…. and you’ll keep your metabolism thriving.

~High-fiber cereal and milk
~Fresh fruit
~String cheese
~Cottage cheese
~Small handful of nuts
~Peanut butter on whole wheat bread
~Raw veggies with dip
~Tuna and celery sticks
~Light microwave popcorn
~Plain or low-fat vanilla yogurt

~Granola

I’m working on this…I think I snack too much though, I just need to make both less and more healthy. Easy? Right…. we’ll see.

FAIL

I thought of re-weighing my self today.…But that would be lying. So I did weigh last night and it was +2.6
FAIL!!!

I just want to give up! If only I knew exactly what I need to do and then if it was easier to do.

Any suggestions?

I did find an app. for my Ipod touch from the fat secret website Kim shared with me. I also have an app. for weight watcher that maybe Alison could help me with….

This weeks weight is 308.6

I just want to get under the 300 pounds at this point. Is that to much to ask for?!

Tip # 49 Just When You Need It: Time to Stretch!

When I do go to Water Aerobics one of my favorite things is the stretching part,
it just feel so GOOD!

Tip # 48 Love Hot Chocolate?

I’m not going to type this tip up cause I was a little long winded in
my last post so I don’t want to type a lot now.


Hot Chocolate? Good? Bad?

The book says Hot Chocolate has lot sugar in it. Well duh! So to be careful, okay.
However I read somewhere else that if you are craving chocolate to have Hot Chocolate, you will get the chocolate you want but not all the calories that would be in a candy bar or something.
So I think like all things have it in moderation. What do you think?

I don’t believe it!!!

I did my weigh in on Friday; I just didn’t blog because…well I went tubing! :)

So my little Wii Fit scale/board says I lost 3.3 pounds this week!!!!!! And it also says it concerned I’m losing too much weight too fast and it’s concerned for my health. Are you kidding me?!

Okay, I’m glad I’ve lost that much I just don’t believe it! Haha and as far being concerned for my health…. well it’s a little late for that. Anyways….

I have worked out pretty good this week! I have an elliptical treadmill, that well sucks (I paid $70 for it) but it is something. I have used it when watching TV! Which has worked out pretty well, it beats just sitting there while I watch stuff like The Bachelor and One Tree Hill and hate all their stupid skinny bodies!


As far as eating this week could be better, could be worse. I don’t think I snaked as much this week. But because of my mom’s surgery I haven’t eaten the best meals, but it hasn't been to bad it seems.
My weight this week is 306! Let’s hope I can keep this up or well down! :)

Tip #47 Safer Meat

Try to avoid eating foods with the term “mechanically separated meat” that would be…

I think this is pretty obvious, hot dogs, lunchmeats, chicken nuggets, sausages, and meat in box entrees. Not all these are going be separated meats, but that the kinds that would be.
I have these kinds of things sometimes but not on a daily base not even weekly.

…. I think I have come to the conclusion I like food too much! Cause nothing I eat is way bad I just eat too much of what I do have. :(

Ugh!!

Well I need to get going with weight losing. I started out good, but things aren’t going so good now. I’m up 0.4 very small but wishing it was down.

I think some of the problems are:
Work: It’s killer! Working around food all day and not just food like at Mc D’s but GOOD food that you want to eat! I must stop eating so much there! (Rice is my new addiction)

Exercise: Let’s see I went to water aerobics once…. I used my elliptical treadmill a few time, it’s however not the best. I need to figure out a better way to exercise. (I feel like a broken record that is all I ever say.)

I’ve come to realize I have to stop eating all together!! Ok not really cause that’s just another extreme. However there is this problem of you should work out X amount a day to burn off what you had that day…then what you have (at least I do) all this other stuff stored up, so that means you have to workout that much more.
Some at work said this and I thought it was great “A moment on your lips a life time on your hips” …something to think about!

Tip # 46 All Right, Who’s Cooking Dinner?

Plan out your dinner menu for the next week. Write it down and post it in a handy location for your next trip to the grocery store.

Taking time to plan ahead does work. I know from personal experience that my family eats healthier when I plan meals in advance. (It’s also less expensive!)


My family use to do this for a while and have tried several times to re-start. Maybe today is the day to start again. I’m just hoping we can stick to planning, cause I do think it helps in several ways!
Ok…I’m re think this again tips might be Fridays, same a weigh in. That way I can just type both up at the same time and be done for the week.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

New Years resolution. Yes? or No?
I personally think “New Years resolution” are stupid… Why can you only make a goal at the beginning of the year? And we all know the chances of keeping them are slim.

However even though I’m not a big fan of them if I were to have them here’s mine: continue with the weight lose thing, and start saving up money for things such a mission? Or wedding? …Which ever happens and when ever.

Now for the weigh in …………………………. +2 pounds.

Here’s the deal since last time we’ve had two birthdays New Years Eve and New Years day! So there’s been a lot of food healthy and un-healthy. Hope we can get the food gone soon and if not just keep it out of sight, out of mind.

My weight this week is 308.9 pounds. Definitely need to get back on track. :(

Really quick…

Okay, I have obviously failed at bloging this week for a few reasons (or excuses):

The holidays
Laziness
Being over whelmed
Busy

So here’s what I’ve decided, I think I’m going start doing a “tip a week”! I think I’ve been over whelmed by doing the tip per day and have not done so well at really doing the tip, which is the whole point. Right? With a tip a week this way I’ll be able to focus more on the tip, rather the just type it up and that be it.


I’m honestly struggling with the whole weight loss thing right now (as you’ll see in the next blog…) I just figure I should accept the fact that I’m just going to be fat my whole life…


Back the whole point of this blog, I think I’m going to post the tip on Monday’s that way I’ll start off the week with new tip and the by Friday see if it worked!
