I along with most people plan on having a healthier year and continuing to lose weight. This is more then a "new year resolution" it's a life long change.
One thing I thing I have decide I need to change is eating at work. I have the luxury of getting to eat for free at work. It's very convention not to have to worry what to take to work...however it's not the healthiest food to eat EVERYDAY!
Here's what I'm asking you- What are good, healthy, fast, cheap ect. meals to buy/make for work?
Oh and Christmas miracle I didn't gain any weight...didn't lose any either. I was really worried after the major loss of last week!

The upside of up chucking
I lost 6 pounds this week!!! Having the flu isn't the ideal way to lose weight... But oh well. Now to keep it off though the holidays!

Done!!!!
I'm so done, I give up!!!!!!!
Last week I worked my butt off and lose 1.8 pounds.
This week I wasn't able to work out as much as I would like and what happens?! I gain 2.4 pounds. :'(
I just can't beat this it's getting old.
I want to go out to eat with friends, but don't.
I want to have dessert and not feel guilty.
I want to be able shop at any store and have the clothes fit... Not just window shop.
I want I boy to look at me, think I'm beautiful and want to date me.
I don't want to look at other girls I think "If only I looked like that."
I don't want be able to say "I'm not cold, I've got extra padding."
I don't want to only wear flats because my calves are to big for boots.
I'm SO done, just make it go away. :'(

Mystery....
Down 5.5 pounds this week!!!! However I don't know how I did it...
I walked 5 miles while watching The biggest loser. That was the only work out I did this week. A pound a mile? I guess I'll take it. :)

The way things have been going lately I feel like my blog title has never been more fitting.
It be a lot of ups and downs.

1. Bulged disk in my back Aka excruciating pain

Coincidence I Think Not
Time for another "Shout out" to ALISON BRAMMER!!!
I've been thinking of this shout out for a while...and come to find out she did a post about me! :) Coincidence I think not!!!
Alison is the reason I started this blog, she has been such a great example and motivation to me!
I know we all see talk shows and stuff where they show before and after picture from people losing weight. But we don't see the hard work that really goes it, at least for me... UNTIL Alison.
I've watched her change her life and loss weight. I'm so grateful for the example she is to me! I couldn't have done what I have with out her!

I thought I should do a "Shout out" to the most important person, Heavenly Father.
As I've made losing weight a priority in my life I have tried to make sure and include my Heavenly Father in it.
In prayers I've ask for help and strength to be able to accomplishand and do the things I want. I know that the prays have been answered.
There have been may days when I lay in bed and have just about talked my self out of going to the gym and then all of the sudden I will have the ability to make my self get ready and go.
I know that is from Heavenly Fathers help, and without him I could not do the thing I am doing.
I am so grateful for the strength He gives me and knowing my body is a temple.

FORTY!!!
I love being able to say I HAVE LOST FORTY POUNDS!!!!
This week I lost 4 pounds!!!
Which means not only did I hit the 40 pound mark I know weigh 269.8!!!
That means no more 270's!!!

Remember the fable about the tortoise and the hare?
Slow and steady wins the race. I need to remind myself of that often! I get frustrated when I don't have a great success, however as long as I'm moving in the right direction I'll finish!

"Diet"
First of all I'd like to say I lost 3.1 pounds this past week!!! It's a nice feeling to be at a weight I can't even remember the last time I weighed that much! :) 273.8 pounds OH YAY!!!
Now-I want to know what you think when you hear the word "diet"? I personally don't like the word, because of an attitude of my mom that she got from Dr. Phil.
To me a"diet" is a short term thing, a quick fix, it's a fad. I'm after a life style change! I don't want lose weight to gain it back or go from one crazy thing to another. Anyways, the reason for the diet question is a friend has used that word a lot about my eating habits and in a way it bugs...BUT then I think who really cares what they call it Because the recognize that I AM losing weight!!!! Let me know your thoughts on "diets".

Results
DOWN 1.1 ---a whole pound finally!!!
Results is what I want...Results is the reason I might have tried out for The Biggest Loser.
I decided not to tryout, Because I need to prove to my self that I CAN do it on my own.
(Of course with the support of all my family and friends)
I think The Biggest Loser is great show, that I love to watch.
However I don't know that I really need/want to go though all that it would Intel.
So that means you still have to put up with me cause I'm not off LA to be come the next reality star! Ha ha

If all goes like planned I will be trying out for The Biggest Loser!!! Crazy huh??!!
I really don't think I'll make ....However I don't want to look back and go "What if..."
Funny thing is a co work said "Sorry I don't think your big enough to make it on."
I though it was really sweet and nice, totally made my day! :)

Trial and Error
I wish I could find something that worked!! I hate the really good week (-4.0 pounds), followed by okay weeks ( 0.9) pounds and THEN there is bad weeks (+anything!).
I would love to have consistency even if it was just down one pound, I'd at least know what I was doing was working. This week was an "okay week" down 0.7 pounds!!!

I want to start doing a "spotlight" on people who help, inspire, motivate encourage me!
First of KAYLA PORTER!!! I'm lucky enough to work with her, she is amazing! Everytime I see her she ask how my weeks been going. Giving me suggetions on what to eat, things to do for works out. She always so proud when I "run" no matter how fast a go. Haha Also she'll text me though out the week and on friday to see how I'm doing. Not only does she do all that she walk the talk making her a great example!!! I'm very grateful to have Kayla in my life! :)

NEVER again!!!
...Will I weigh over 280, I made it down to 279.3

Monday- Treadmill for an hour.
Tuesday- No workout

Defeated
To start on a good note I'm down 0.9 pounds....However I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. I just want to raise my white flag and say "Fine I'll be fat and ugly the rest of my life!"
It's so HARD to be be good and not have results. It's annoying to be eating heath and watch other eat whatever they wait. Having to think do I want to it this OR something else later. Then I do "give up" and feel guilty.
There's just no winning.

I wish...
One of my wishes in life would be for skinny people to be fat...Now I'm not talking about forever! Just few days or weeks! I HATE when people are skin and say their "fat" when their NOT!!!

Realize
I have hard time realizing I've lost 33.1 pounds!!!
Friends and family telling me they can see a difference is a nice reminder and

This past week I was running errand with my mom, we had to get cat litter....I'm sure your thinking what does this have to do with weight lose. Well I'll tell you! My mom pointed out that the 27 pound bucket of cat litter is equivalent what I've lost in weight (a little less I might add).

Here's your challenge!
Find something that weighs how much you've lost. ie. 10 pounds of sugar,
30 pounds of cat litter, 50 pounds of flour... NOW: carry it around with you for a while.
